The Wild Turkey distillery was built in 1869 in Tyrone, Kentucky. The name was not Wild Turkey until 1941 when some shared on a hunting trip was referred to as “some of that wild turkey whiskey”.

The brand has grown strongly since then and is still highly popular. This, now discontinued version has been blended with spices and other flavours.
